How I Can Proceed To Have My Money Back? I Paid A “door To Door” Service From Miami To Venezuela?

The package got lost and the company dont want to pay the whole amount of the lost but in mothly payments of$50 when the complete amount is over $650. In fact they have done the first deposit without my approval. But I cannot afford a lawyer. I dont know what to do with this unfare treatment. Is anything that I can do or just accept the monthly payments? Please advice. Spanish answers are welcome too.

Llevarla a corte me iba a costar $300.

You are lucky as the company is willing to pay you back for the loss without you having to force them. Even though it is in installments. Did they promise to pay you in full or up to a certain amount of liability? Do you have a receipt of the order. Terms and agreement are written at the back of these. Did you pay cash or by credit card? Your credit card company may assist you in getting back your money. If not, just hope you will be able to get all your money back. Don’t use their services next time. Get a credit card.**
