Since Repubs In Fla. Vote To Cut State Programs Like Schools, Healthcare, Etc. Why Not Let So. Fla. Secede?
There’s more revenue from South Florida: Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe counties. Then Republican north Florida distributes the money to all their counties where people don’t believe in taxes and government funded operations like public schools and SCHIP. Aren’t they being hypocrtical to take the money from the more Democrat South Florida, then not returning the revenues to the south where they came from? Any south Fla. residents who’d like to separate like the Carolinas? Why not?

How incredibly misleading. Most revenues come in from S. Florida by virtue of its higher population. N. Florida is much less populated and nothing more. Those who favor reduced spending merely would like taxpayers to control more of their own money incl. you liberal South Floridians. And thats a bad thing?

I’d love to separate but North Florida wouldn’t have it. We pay for their everything! Roads, schools, disability checks, lol. They NEED us… while we would be much better off WITHOUT them… Won’t happen though cause we generate a ton of money down here and they barely have enough intelligence to know it.

I am sure you have nothing to back that up with. And you probably forget the billions spent educating illegal aliens. Why not focus your typing power into keeping the illegals out, our money in, so we can educate our own kids?

Didn’t Dade County secede years ago?
If it has so much money, why has Miami-Dade had such financial problems in the past?

You are not being truthful. Cutting govt spending is never wrong!
